The vitality of our centenary year and the incredible spirit that energised our members and volunteers throughout 2014 has carried over into this year with a sense of optimism and renewal.
During World War One, a stream of clothing, comforts and goods of all kinds produced by Red Cross volunteers flowed from every port in Australia to hospitals in England and Egypt where wounded Australian soldiers were being cared for.
